Supreme Court Final Verdict On V.K Sasikala and Jayalalithaa DA Case Latest Updates:
On 14th February 2017, Tuesday around 10.30 AM the Supreme Court will deliver its verdict for the corruption case of both Jayalalithaa and Sasikala.
Justices PC Ghose and AK Roy will be delivering the 21 year old corruption case of disproportionate assets by former chief minister J Jayalalithaa and VK Sasikala.
Earlier in the month of May 2016 the Karnataka high court had overturned a trial court’s verdict and exonerated J.Jayalalithaa and V.K Sasikala in the case.
Now 2 Judges PC Ghose and AK Roy will pronounce separate judgments against the Disproportionate Assets DA case.
On 5th December 2016 the former chief minister J Jayalalithaa died and recently V.K Sasikala became the general secretary of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
V.K Sasikala also claimed to the posts of Chief Minister of Tamilnadu against O Panneerslvam and the Governor of Tamilnadu now waiting for the verdict of DA case.
Two-judge bench PC Ghose and AK Roy had pronounced the judgement and sentenced V.K Sasikala, Ilavarasi and Sudhakaran to 4 years in prison, pay a fine of Rs 10 crore and has been told to surrender immediately.
