QR / Bar Code Smart Card For Tamilnadu Government and Aided Schools Students: The Government of Tamilnadu School Education Department had recently mentioned that smart cards with either QR or Bar Code technology will be issued for all the Government and Government-Aided Schools students. For about 70.60 lakh students which includes 46.61 lakh studying in Government Schools and 23.99 lakh in Government-aided Schools will be issued the smart cards. The smart card will contain major nine information about the students which includes Students Name, Student ID, Date of Birth, Blood Group, Photograph, Address, Father Name, School Name, Card Issue Year. From the common database the students information can be checked after the information are stored using QR or Bar Code. With the budget around 12.71 crore rupees the Director of the Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Services Corporation will print the Smart card and distribute the Smart card.  …
