Jallikattu Ban Protests in Tamil Nadu State Latest Updates:
More protests against the ban of jallikattu and to ban PETA in India happening all over the districts of Tamilnadu state in India since January 2017.
Many Schools and Colleges students of all the districts of Tamilnadu state joined hands with the IT professional for protests against the ban of Jallikattu.
In the Marina beach located in Chennai many students are protesting against the ban against jallikattu event in Tamilnadu and the result of that Tamil Nadu chief minister O Panneerselvam planned a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 19th January 2017.
Students from various districts of Ariyalur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Dindigul, Erode, Kanchipuram, Kanyakumari, Karur, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Nagapattinam, Namakkal, Perambalur, Pudukkottai, Ramanathapuram, Salem, Sivaganga, Thanjavur, The Nilgiris, Theni, Thoothukudi, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur, Tiruvallur, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvarur, Vellore, Viluppuram, Virudhunagar participating in the strike against the ban of jallikattu and the holidays till 22nd January 2017 had been announced by various Colleges and Universities.

To support the College students for the protests against the ban of Jallikattu the South Indian Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam) had also announced the one day hunger strike on 20th January 2017 and the Tamilnadu Lorry Owners Association had also announced one day strike for Jallikattu issue.
